Schenker Watermaker WIKI

  • SKU: 001-113-000

The portable Schenker Watermaker WIKI produces 30 litres of fresh water per hour (7.9 gal/h) via reverse osmosis. Thanks to the Energy Recovery System (ERS), the energy consumption is only 110W/h. The desalination system is directly connected to consumer batteries (12V / 24V). The mobile, compact desalination system is not only suitable for use on boats, but also for other outdoor applications where salt or brackish water is to be converted into clean drinking water.

Description

The portable Schenker Watermaker WIKI convinces with high-quality manufacturing, low energy consumption and an ultra-compact design.

The desalination plant (membrane and ERS), the pump with the electric box, the accumulator and the 5 Micron filter housing are compactly installed and are complemented by a small, external pre-filter (mesh filter). The entire system can be stored in two practical bags. If required, it can be easily set up in a few minutes anywhere on the boat, by the river or in any other outdoor situation. Water production is started simply by manually activating the pump.

WIKI produces 30 litres of fresh water per hour (7.9 gallons per hour) via reverse osmosis. Thanks to Schenker's patented Energy Recovery System (ERS), energy consumption is very low at 110 watts per hour (approx. 3.7 watts per litre / approx. 13.9 watts per gallon of water produced). The power consumption is up to 80% lower compared to conventional desalination systems. This makes the unit particularly suitable for self-sufficient water production. The watermaker is connected directly to consumer batteries (12 or 24 volts).

The use of high quality materials for all components and the well thought-out design make the WIKI not only quiet running and low on vibration, but also keep the device absolutely corrosion-free and ensure its long life.

Many recreational and circumnavigational sailors rely on the reliable Schenker products with low power consumption. In combination with alternative energy sources such as solar and wind power, they enable an independent lifestyle on the water. The mobile WIKI is not only suitable for use on boats, but also for other outdoor applications where salt or brackish water is to be converted into clean drinking water.
