Schenker produces watermakers with its own patented Energy Recovery System (ERS) that are uniquely simple, vibration-free, compact, efficient, reliable and fully automatic.

With the ERS, energy consumption is reduced by up to 80% compared to conventional watermakers. Thanks to the low energy consumption, Schenker watermakers can be connected directly to the consumer battery (on-board power supply 12V / 24V).*

Schenker devices are made of completely corrosion-free materials such as carbon and acetyl resin.

Katadyn's manually operated and electric-powered watermakers are suitable as back-up systems, for emergencies on board as well as for crews that have a very low fresh water demand.

Katadyn products are among the most compact and lightweight watermakers in the world. The handheld watermakers are so small that they can be packed into the life raft, depending on the manufacturer. They are very robust and are used by Coast Guard corps, military, expeditions and on board worldwide.
