With this comprehensive kit with the tank connector, the faucet, the 2-way valve, the check valve, five meters of fresh water hose and with the respective adapters, the freshly produced water from the watermaker is fed via the 3-way valve either to the tank or to the sink. The kit is ideal for branching off the first few minutes of produced water, testing the produced water, filling it directly into drinking bottles or filling the fresh water tank.
The check valve ensures that no water can flow back to the desalination plant. This prevents, for example, harmful water from the tanks containing chlorine from reaching the membranes. The water tester, which is also included, can be used to determine the PPM value of the fresh water (degree of purity of the water). In this way, the watermaker can be easily and regularly checked for its qualitatively correct fresh water production.
We recommend installing the water tap by the sink and the 3-way valve in an easily accessible location, for example in the cabinet under the sink. The male swivel elbows attached to the side of the 2-way valve can be rotated 360°degrees and thus allow optimal installation. The angle bracket for the 2-way valve and 4 stainless steel screws are included in the kit. The tank connector is usually easiest to install at the maintenance hatch of the fresh water tank. The maintenance hatch of the tank should be easy to dismantle and the tank connector can then be installed at the maintenance hatch. This ensures that no contamination, such as drilling chips, get into the tank.
