The Schenker Watermaker ZEN 300 Twin Touch offers maximum flexibility and redundancy. The system is based on two independent watermaker units, including pump and filter systems, which can be controlled via a single touch panel. The device impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship, low energy consumption, and compact, modular design.
The desalination system of the ZEN product line consists of two watermaker units (membranes and Energy Recovery System – ERS), two pump units, filter units, and the touch control panel. Thanks to the modular design, the device is ideal for yachts with limited space or when optimal space utilization is a priority.
The watermaker produces 300 liters (79 gallons) of fresh water per hour via reverse osmosis. With Schenker's patented Energy Recovery System (ERS), the power consumption is very low at just 1.2 kwatts per hour (About 8 watts per liter / About 30.4 watts per gallon of produced water). This is up to 80% lower than traditional desalination systems. The device can be connected directly to the onboard power supply (24V / 48V) or to alternating current (AC, 230V).
The use of high-quality materials for all components and the thoughtful design not only make the ZEN 300 Twin quiet and low-vibration, but also ensure it is completely corrosion-free, guaranteeing a long lifespan.
Many recreational and circumnavigational sailors rely on the reliable Schenker products with low power consumption. In combination with alternative energy sources such as solar and wind power, they enable an independent lifestyle on the water.
