Circumnavigator's Cruising Kit for Schenker Watermaker ZEN 30

The Circumnavigator's Cruising Kit contains the most important consumable accessories as well as practical aids for the watermaker Schenker ZEN 30, which are needed on a circumnavigation or generally on a long voyage:

• 18x 5 Micron filter (5 inch)
• 2x Activated Carbon Block filter (5 inch)
• 3x Cleaning Product SC 1
• 2x Cleaning Product SC 2

Maintenance work with Circumnavigator's Cruising Kit
The following maintenance work can be carried out with the Circumnavigator's Cruising Kit:

Cleaning and preservation: The Cleaning Products SC 1 and SC 2 are used as follows:

• The Cleaning Product SC 1* (acid-based) is used for resting periods of two to three months or more (preservation of the system) or in the case of dirty membranes (e.g. recognizable by too high working pressure). This product removes inorganic elements.
• The Cleaning Product SC 2** (alkaline) is used in case of bad smell of the produced water. This product removes organic elements (including bacteria) in the System.

Filter maintenance: Some routine maintenance operations require replacement of the following products:

• 5 Micron filter (5 in): in case of normal use of the watermaker, replace after 80 to 100 working hours (depending on the quality of the water, we recommend changing the filter more frequently).
• Activated Carbon Block filter (5 in): to be replaced once a year.
