BLUE-AIRCO marine air conditioners with variable speed can be connected to the 12 Volt, 24 Volt or 48 Volt on-board network and are therefore unique on the market. The ground-breaking technology reduces energy consumption by 50 % compared to ON-OFF systems and by 20 % compared to conventional variable speed units equipped with DC-AC converters.
As there is no start peak current, vessels without a generator can run the air conditioning system silently from the consumer batteries. In ECO mode, the units consume no more than 160 Watt at 12 Volt and 220 Watt at 48 Volt, ensuring quiet operation overnight. Features of the Italian-made devices include corrosion-resistant titanium seawater coils, BLDC motors, electronic expansion valves and capacitive touch controls.
